Who’s behind 4Bitten Media?
- Johnna Rowe started Johnna Knows Good Food in 2007, featuring recipes, drink mixes plus restaurant reviews, and has grown into a source for all things food, including the highly-acclaimed “Etiquette Tuesday” as regularly featured on WUSA-9.
- Lauren DeSantis began producing the television travel and food series The Capital Cooking Show and companion blog in 2008. Capital Cooking provides the latest news in food around town, behind-the-scenes secrets about filming the show, recipes, travel, cocktails and more.
- Mary Kong-DeVito started Girl Meets Food in 2009, which has quickly grown to be DC’s irreverent guide to unusual food discoveries. Voted Washington Flyer’s Best Travel Blogs of 2011 and The Washington Post’s “Favorite Local Foodie” in the DC Tweeps 2012, it’s the source of dining and lifestyle tips and offbeat restaurant guides.
- Established in 2009, Cloture Club was created to be a grand central for information that Hill rats and DC folks would enjoy. A hub for the need to know. The first two staples were events and jobs, but more and more content seemed to flow from its creative writers. Expanding into restaurant reviews, fashion, election coverage, movie reviews and more, there’s a subject for everyone.
